About The Role:

We’ve got an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic marketing team as a Digital and Print Graphic Designer. You will help support the marketing team to reach the marketing goals and objectives through creating engaging content for both print and digital, whilst working closely with internal teams and external agencies.

This is a Monday – Friday position with the occasional weekend to assist with annual events. No previous experience of insurance is required as a full induction will be provided. We support all our people with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised, motivated graphic designer with the knowledge and ability to design for digital (website, social) and print using Adobe Creative Cloud, combined with the following:

  • A key team player, bags of initiative and ability to think creatively.
  • Proven experience creating brand engagement through digital and print communications.
  • Knowledge and experience of design and layout principles, setting up and preparing artwork for print production (leaflets, newsletters, informative guides and exhibitions).
  • Excellent knowledge, technical skills and experience of using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge and experience of email marketing platforms and Content Management Systems - preferably Umbraco. Ability to update/upload content, as well as suggest and implement changes that will enhance the user experience.
  • Deadline driven and experienced in managing multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines, and effectively prioritising tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to review and proofread.
  • Immaculate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst building strong relationships with team members, including in pressured situations.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn internal systems.
  • An interest in rural and agricultural issues would be advantageous but is not necessary.
Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting in the development, production and implementation of engaging brand awareness and lead generation campaigns by creating both digital and print assets.
  • Leading the design and execution of innovative, high quality and effective graphic designs across various mediums, helping to bring our events, projects, campaigns, and communications to life.
  • Maintaining effective communication throughout the design process, from initial brief to presenting proposals, capturing feedback, and providing debriefs.
  • Proof checking.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Learning, developing and implementing workflows through automated marketing software.
  • Complying with GDPR regulations.
  • Performance tracking by supporting with the analysis of results and monthly marketing reports.
  • Delivering performance in line with our behaviours and values.
  • Supporting other team members during busy periods.
