Working and living in the farming and rural industry is hard work and involves a lot of expensive machinery, vehicles and power tools, kept in isolated barns and outbuildings.  After a long day's work, it's easy to forget the small tasks that can help protect your equipment from thieves. 

Devon & Cornwall Police have a Rural Affairs Team which provides support in relation to crime prevention, problem solving and rural crime partnership working.

If you need support and information to help prevent rural crime, report a crime or any suspicious activity you can contact the police by the following methods:
