We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive HR Co-ordinator who is eager to grow, develop and make a real impact. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience in a supportive team within a purpose driven organisation.
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll gain hands-on exposure across the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to learning & development, systems, benefits and more. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for colleagues, helping shape great employee experiences while building strong foundations for your HR career.
- Previous HR/L&D administration experience is desirable
- Knowledge of HR processes and employment law basics
- Experience using and maintaining HR systems is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential; we will support you to study and achieve qualifications
- Championing employee engagement initiatives; supporting a collaborative, inclusive organisational culture.
- Actively supporting the integration of DEI principles into all aspects of day‑to‑day working life, helping create a workplace where everyone feels respected, included and able to thrive.
- Supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and recruitment activities.
- Acting as a system owner for the HR Information System, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Using HR data to help leaders make informed decisions and strengthen people‑focused practices across the organisation.
- Acting as the first point of contact for general HR queries, providing timely and accurate advice or escalating where appropriate.
- Coordinating the provision of learning and development opportunities.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training through follow‑up analysis, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Reviewing personal development plans and identifying training needs.
- Maintaining up-to-date employee records and files in line with GDPR and company policy.
- Assisting with benefits administration (e.g. pension enrolment, healthcare scheme).
