For over 100 years, we've been providing quality, affordable insurance products to farmers in the South West. Established in 1903 by a group of farmers, we've grown steadily over the years to offer a comprehensive range of insurances to Somerset farmers.

As every farm is unique, we work with each Member to ensure that our Somerset farm insurance meets their individual needs; as all of our Insurance Inspectors are salaried we don't believe in encouraging you to buy cover that you do not need. Our Insurance Inspectors are available to offer a local personal service at no added cost to our competitive premiums.

We offer a range of cover for Somerset farmers including Public Liability, Employer's Liability, Property and Personal Accident insurance.

Unlike many insurance companies, we're entirely independent and because we're mutual, we have no shareholders - so your premiums work harder for you. We don't have customers, only Members, and when you become a Member, we put your needs first. We take time to listen and gain a detailed understanding of your particular circumstances, then tailor our policies to suit you.
