Insurance Professionals - Head Office, Truro
Due to expansion in many areas and ambitious growth plans we are currently looking for experienced Insurance professionals to work at our Head Office in Truro.
You should have at least 3 years working at Senior Underwriter level, a good understanding of policy wordings and the construction of general insurance contracts.
You must be keen to develop your insurance and business skills and to broaden your experience as we anticipate utilising your talents across the business.
You will have good analytical skills, able to gather and interpret data to shape and deliver solutions to support our growth strategy.
You will be expected to work flexibly, a 35 hour week within the hours of 8am – 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Cornish Mutual will support you with training and development, a defined contribution pension scheme and access to the company private medical insurance scheme (after a qualifying period).
The salary is in the range of £22,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.

Insurance Inspector – North Somerset
We are seeking an Insurance Inspector to be based in North Somerset area.
The successful candidate will be a self starter with a sales background and a strong customer service ethos. The ability to identify and generate new business as well as develop new and existing relationships is required.
A general insurance sales background is advantageous. A positive and solution driven approach is essential.
You will undertake extensive travel to meet Members and prospective Members to sell and service insurance needs. Travel to Head Office in Truro will be required. You will be expected to live in the area of North East Somerset.
You will be required to work flexibly, 8am to 8pm and 5 out of 7 days, including the occasional weekend. Starting salary is in the range of £22,500 - £26,500 depending on experience. This position includes a company car.
The position includes a defined contribution pension scheme and access to the Company private medical insurance scheme (after a qualifying period).

Marketing Assistant - Truro
We are looking for a bright, ambitious and hardworking Marketing Assistant to join our team based at our Head Office in Truro.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a positive, can do attitude and a willingness to learn and embrace Cornish Mutual’s unique culture and brand. The ability to be creative and contribute ideas is essential along with excellent communication skills. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to deliver to timescales, problem solve and manage suppliers.
You will have experience in digital marketing, including the management of social media, SEO and PPC activities, the design and delivery of email campaigns, use of content management systems and have the ability to analyse and report on all online activity.
Your responsibilities will include: data management and reporting, development of marketing campaigns and internal communication of marketing activities - all to drive brand awareness and sales. An ability to write engaging content along with basic web design skills would be benefical. A CIM qualification or commitment to work towards this will be required.
You will be expected to work flexibly, a 35 hour week within the hours of 8am – 8pm, 5 days out of 7. Salary is in the range of £18,900 - £23,100 depending on experience.
