We can cover loss or damage to your commercial property, private
dwelling, stables and storage buildings including stable contents
like hay, straw, feed, bedding, saddlery and tack.
Public and Employers liability
By law if you have employees, unpaid volunteers or students on
placement working at your premises then you should have employers
liability insurance. This insurance will allow you as a
livery yard owner to meet the cost of damages and legal fees for
employees who are injured or made ill at work through the fault of
the employer. Employees injured due to an employer's
negligence can seek compensation even if the business goes into
liquidation or receivership.
Though not a legal requirement we would always recommend Public
Liability Insurance to our Members as it covers you for any damages
awarded to a member of the public because of an injury or damage to
their property caused by your negligence or that of your equine
business including any related legal fees, costs and
expenses.
Horse custody care and control cover
This insurance will cover you for injury, illness or disease
(fatal or non fatal) to a horse in your or your employees' care,
custody and control.
Optional extensions of: Business Interruption Insurance
If your livery yard activities are interrupted following an
insured loss or damage, business interruption insurance can provide
you with an income for an agreed period.
This also includes cover for Infectious equine diseases such as
influenza, strangles and venereal disease.

With every policy purchased a comprehensive Risk Management
Information pack is provided to assist with the daily running of an
equestrian yard.
