Every let
property is different, so our Let Property insurance is modular
which means you can choose the sections of cover you want. We can
help you decide which areas of cover are best for you and your
property.
Building and Contents Insurance
We can cover your let property against the usual dangers to a
domestic building like loss or damage due to flood or fire,
together with other things you may not have thought of such as
accidental damage.
Our contents insurance covers the loss of or damage to contents in
your property by a range of causes - from theft, fire and
accidental damage to malicious persons. We include cover for
contents in the garden and replacement locks following the theft of
external door keys.
Loss of Rent Insurance
Having a property unavailable to rent can have serious financial
consequences. We can provide cover for loss of rent should your
property be uninhabitable due to loss or damage from an insured
peril.
Employers Liability Insurance
Employers' liability insurance is compulsory by law for most
employers. Having employers' liability insurance means that if an
employee is injured due to your negligence, you will be
indemnified. Employees include working directors and casual or
sub-contracted labour e.g. cleaners working in your let
property.
Your legal liability for injury to your let property employees
can be covered for up to £10,000,000.
Public Liability Insurance
Our Let Property insurance will automatically cover you for
legal liability arising in connection with your let property. This
includes cover for injury to any person who is not an employee or
damage to their property up to a limit of £2,000,000 plus costs and
expenses.
Legal & Tax Advice Services
It is important when owning a let property that you can rely on
professional legal and tax advice. Your cover will include access
to a 24 hour helpline. You will also have access to legal defence
if an event arising from your insured property leads to you being
prosecuted in a criminal case.
This cover is provided by DAS, the UK's largest legal expenses
Insurance Company.
Our existing Members value our honesty and openness. If you deal
with us you can be assured that, as a Mutual Insurer, your premium
will work hard for your benefit and not be passed to
shareholders.
