The party planners and
caterers, based near Launceston, formed in 2000 and have been
Members of the South West's only general insurer from day one.
Anytime, Anywhere Ltd is an award-winning company that specialises
in event catering throughout the region from Yeovilton in Somerset
to St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly.
Lesley and Phil offer a personal, tailored approach to weddings
and a variety of services for corporate clients.
Lesley says the recommendation for using Cornish Mutual came from
her parents who own a farming business and were Members themselves,
"We spend a lot of time going into people's homes, businesses or
marquees to cook. Transporting equipment and setting up can be
quite hazardous, so we need to make sure we have the right
insurance cover in place and are confident that Cornish Mutual look
out for us. We didn't look anywhere else; we knew about Cornish
Mutual previously and were happy to use them."
Helen Newton is the Cornish Mutual Inspector who looks after
Lesley and Phil's insurance needs which extend to covering their
premises, public
and employers' liability, goods-in-transit and vehicles.
While Lesley uses her creative flair in the kitchen, honed from
her time working alongside top chef Anton Mosimann, Phil manages
all the staffing and front of house elements at the
functions.
She adds, "This works really well and I think our clients
appreciate this approach, a more relaxed way of working while still
offering a personal touch. We're both there at the event and people
value this."
As they are from farming backgrounds Lesley and Phil are both keen
to support local farmers and producers by using as much local
produce as possible including meats, cheeses, cream and
wines.
The couple make their own chutneys, jams and pasties, use their
own eggs and grow their own herbs. A few years ago they began
producing their own beef and lamb on the family farm, allowing them
to experiment with different cuts and joints of meats.
As the company grows, Lesley says they meet up with Helen from
Cornish Mutual regularly to go through their insurance policies and
make sure they are covered appropriately, "We're always busy and so
we're happy knowing that it's being taken care of. Often people
book a year or more in advance for weddings, so we need to be
prepared."
She laughs, "We're already quoting for new business in 2011 and we
don't even advertise - it just shows you what word of mouth can do
as an effective way of getting people to know about your business.
We've a good reputation and in the future we want to build on this,
concentrate on our core business and keep providing a high-quality
service."
