Personal Accident cover
We all hope that accidents will never happen to us… But what will you do if an injury stops you working for a few weeks – or even months?
Our Personal Accident cover caters for just this eventuality.
It pays weekly benefit, based upon 75% of your regular income, if an accident leaves you unable to work, with the intention of keeping you in the financial position that you had prior to the accident.
The benefits last for as long as you are unable to work – up to a maximum of two years – or the policy can pay a lump sum if a more serious accident costs you life or limb.
So, if you are in work and aged between 16 and 64, we can help to offset the long or short term effects of an accident by providing benefits while you are laid up.
Personal accident cover for farm workers
The Agricultural Wages Act means farmers are required to pay most full-time employees while they’re off sick. Cornish Mutual offers specialist cover that indemnifies farmers against this liability.
