Cornish Mutual has been offering insurance to farmers for over 100 years we therefore have in depth experience of the needs and types of cover that our Members in the Farming community require. This includes covering your herd, flock or prize bull.
Our Livestock Policy provides cover for death as a result of illness, injury or breeding. Cover can be given for bulls, cows, heifers, pigs and sheep.
For bulls we provide additional cover which makes a payment where the bull is proved to be permanently impotent, infertile or incapable of service as a result of illness or injury.
Accidents involving horses are surprisingly common, and any horse owner should certainly consider taking out some form of liability cover.
Our Horse Policy is only available as an addition to other policies, because of the risk level involved. It affords cover not only for the public liability risk but also for death of the horse or loss by theft or straying.
In addition, we offer optional covers for vets' fees, and saddlery and riding tack.
To discuss your livestock insurance needs, see your local Insurance Inspector or contact us.
