Cornish Mutual’s agricultural motor fleet insurance offers farmers the benefit of all vehicles being covered under one policy, so there is one single renewal date and therefore less administration.
If you have six or more agricultural vehicles, private cars, goods carrying vehicles, tractors or special vehicles like dumpers or diggers (that are only used for farming purposes), then you might benefit from insuring them on our agricultural fleet Policy.
Local Insurance Inspectors on your doorstep
At Cornish Mutual we have a local Insurance Inspector for your area who can visit you to discuss your requirements. They will be able to go over your insurance needs and explain the insurance options an agricultural motor fleet insurance can offer.
What it covers
Our agricultural motor fleet Policy offers:
• Cover for 6 or more vehicles
• Choice of cover: comprehensive, third party fire and theft, or third party only
• Cover for mixed vehicle types used solely for farming: tractors, diggers, dumpers, ride on lawnmowers or other
agricultural vehicles. (All charged at agricultural rates)
• Cover for vehicles that have not been fleet rated before
• Competitive rates for quality risks
• A choice of excesses to suit individual needs
In addition to cover for loss or damage to vehicles and liability to others, benefits include:
• Free cover for temporary additional vehicles such as hired in, loaned or borrowed vehicles
• Free detached trailers and agricultural implements cover up to £25,000 per trailer/ implement
• Legal expenses
• Any driver cover including young drivers at minimal extra cost
• 24 hour helplines for legal advice
• Option of foreign use extension
